Rafael graduated in 2019 with a masters degree in materials science & engineering at Luleå Tekniska Universitet after spending 4 years in product development for the automotive industry. With the help of Jerry, he pioneered a novel approach to 3D print zeolite structures to function as ammonia carriers.

Rafael has continued his career in product development now focusing on a more sustainable future, developing and designing world class li-ion batteries. Currently he has filed 4 patents on the topic of improving battery safety.
