Biography

Dr. Zhejian (Jerry) Cao 曹哲荐 received the Ph.D. degree in Dec 2021 under the supervison of Prof. Farid Ahktar at Luleå University of Technology. Jerry has joined Sysbio in Prof. Ivan Mijakovic’s group since Jan. 2022.

Cao’s current research direction is applying metal-organic frameworks (MOFs) and graphene related materials for antimicrobial applications at Sysbio.

Cao’s doctoral project focused on novel ammonia carriers with structural stability and rapid kinetics. His research interests include porous materials (zeolites, MOFs, etc.), 2D materials (graphene, MoS2, etc.), IC package design and fabrication.
