A new master internship student, Lucas SARRAMONNE, has joined the us. Lucas will be working on MOF dor drug delivery during the summer period 2023.

Jerry receives the Nils Philblads stipendiefond (KB) travel grant (22k SEK) for EuroMOF2023 conference.

Prof. Lars Öhrström with the co-applicants: Ivan, Jerry and Francoise, got the EI Nano (Excellence Initiative NANO) grant under “high impact, high risk projects” category. The project will focus on using MOF as drug cargo for antibacterial applications.

New paper out in RSC Advances: Calcium/Strontium Chloride Impregnated Zeolite A and X Granules as Optimized Ammonia Sorbents, where Jerry and Farid are the corresponding authors.

A new master thesis student, Nihal Kottan, has joined the us. Nihal will be working on bactericidal MOF coatings during the Spring 2023 semester.

Prof. Ivan Mijakovic with the co-applicants: Lars, Jerry and Francoise, got the WISE (Wallenberg Initiative Materials Science for Sustainability) grant 2022. The project will focus on using MOF coating for antifouling aplications.

Jerry and Francoise joined and presented on the bachelor and master thesis fair day in health and technology on 12th Oct 2022 at Chalmers University of Technology, Sweden. For more information: (master thesis positions)

PEST-BIN summer school 2022 successfully closed on 23rd Sept 2022 at Chalmers University of Technology, Sweden. Jerry supported as local organizing committe for the logistics, hybrid meeting setup, etc. More info:
