Sajna is a molecular microbiologist with a strong foundation in microbiology, infection biology, molecular biology, cytogenetics, and laboratory quality systems. Her hands-on laboratory experience includes DNA/RNA extraction, PCR, qPCR, NGS, cell culture, karyotyping, FISH, microbial testing, and quality control.

During her studies at Uppsala University, she gained research experience in fungal biology and molecular interactions, deepening her interest in experimental research and interdisciplinary life sciences. She is currently expanding her research experience through an internship at SLU, where she looks forward to further developing her skills while contributing to meaningful scientific work.

She is particularly interested in microbiology, molecular biology, biotechnology, and translating laboratory research into practical scientific solutions.
